Characterisation of anti-dystrophin recombinant antibodies

Dystrophin is a structural submembranous protein found in muscle fibers. The APEX platform has identified two recombinant antibodies that effectively detect dystrophin in several mammalian species.

The APEX platform tested two recombinant anti-dystrophin antibodies on sections of the biceps femoris muscle from mouse, rat and dog.
- A recombinant monoclonal antibody, CST 47759, was validated in all three species.
- The other, Abcam ab315102, a recombinant multiclonal antibody, was validated on rat and mouse tissues.
