Characterisation of anti-CD3 recombinant antibodies

CD3 (cluster of differentiation 3) is a membrane marker of T lymphocytes. The APEX platform has identified two recombinant antibodies that effectively detect CD3 in rodents and non-human primates.

The APEX platform tested four recombinant anti-CD3 antibodies on mouse, rat and macaque spleen sections.
Two antibodies, Ab16669 and CST 85061, were validated in all three species.
The other two, AbAb YTH 12.5 and ABCD AD036, did not produce a signal under the conditions tested.
The validated recombinant antibodies exhibited immunolabeling properties identical to or superior to those of the reference polyclonal antibody Dako A0452.
